This is a non
profit website and is a way of giving respect to the labels and
producers of italian style dance played by many clubs, mainly
throughout the northwest and northeast of England, but enjoyed by
dance music lovers all over the UK and indeed the planet. So if you
are a fan of the music and the clubs featured on this website:

This website was
originally thought of by myself to pay homage to the style of Italian
Dance music that I love and cherish so much.
So whether you dance, listen, buy, sell or talk about the dance music
featured on this site or want to ask questions directly to many of the
main players involved in the scene, please enjoy all the forums, and
we welcome your thoughts for any improvements or new ideas.

Admittedly, a site of this size could not be done by
myself so I brought in help from trusted friends and DJ's and we
collectively aim to make this site, hopefully, the best, most
informative, most entertaining website for the northwest and northeast
dance music scene.
The development of
this site was created by myself with
further assistance
from Jonny (aka Horizon) Kev, Barry Jay,
Mikey well done lads I

For the vinyl
scans database, there are too many contributors to mention
individually, but thanks to each and everyone of you - I must mention
Kev in particular, who has been developing this site for me, as well
as sending in hundreds of scans over the past months.. well done matey.
For the flyers; well Funki B and Rikkee for Fever; Melody House and
Barrie Jay for Zone; DJ Marty and DJ John G for Sanctuary and the
Venue at Spennymoor, plus every individual who sent in flyers and
memorabilia to backtotheoldzone.co.uk (that had to close for reasons
beyond my control) will have them all displayed again here. |
